"Backwards" the Movie to be a PCR Fundraiser

The movie "Backwards" was filmed in Philadelphia along our very own Boathouse Row, sharing the journey of one female rower's aspirations to achieve her dream of competing on the world stage as an Olympic rower. PCR has strong ties to the film: Tony Schneider, Chairman of PCR, served as the co-executive producer of the movie, and many of our PCR students were involved in the production and can be seen in various scenes throughout "Backwards."

The movie opens on September 21st in select theaters in Philadelphia. Tony has been collaborating with a small committee (comprised of members in the Boathouse Row community) to host a special fundraising event that evening for the 7:30pm showing at the Bryn Mawr Film Institute with all proceeds going directly to PCR.
